For a fun and practical alternative to camping in a tent we offer three well-insulated camping pods. The family pod sleeps four (2 on a double bed and 2 on the floor (please note the benches cannot be used as 2 single beds), whilst the 2 smaller pods sleep 2-3 on the floor. All the pods have electric lights, electric sockets and a heater but are otherwise unfurnished. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the pods.

Eating Out and Buying Food Locally
The Isle of Arran Distillery. Local produce and the Casks café and art gallery - coffees, cakes and light snacks. Tours are available. Open daily
The independently-run Stags Pavilion Restaurant adjacent to the campsite is open for evening meals 5.30- 8.30 pm except Wednesdays. It is strongly advised to book ahead to avoid disappointment: 01770 830600
The Sandwich Station is a takeaway at the Lochranza pier, 20 minutes walk along the lochside away. It is open 8 am to 4pm daily. You can get mouthwatering sandwiches here made with homemade bread as well as freshly-made coffee www.thesandwichstation.com
The Lochranza Hotel’s Boguillie Bar is 15 minutes walk from the campsite, opposite the castle. It offers lunch snacks and bar meals in the evenings every day of the week. It also has a huge range of whiskies for you to try.Tel: 01770 830223
The Arran Butcher calls at the campsite in a van on Friday mornings. The Arran Butcher's shop is at Blackwaterfoot where you can find a full range of award-winning produce
Catacol Bay Hotel is a family-friendly pub 2 miles west of Lochranza. You can buy bar food here throughout the day. Their Sunday buffet lunches are a popular speciality. Tel: 01770 830231
Pirnmill Village Stores is 6 miles west, on the bus route. As well as a variety of local produce, the shop sells wine and beer and the daily papers which are brought across to the island on the first ferry. Open daily and 12-4 pm Sundays.
The Lighthouse - a restaurant at Pirnmill offering home-cooked lunches and evening meals, with lovely views over the Kilbrannan Sound. It is closed on Mondays. Tel: 01770 850240.
Post Office. You can find a mobile post office in Lochranza Village Hall on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
The nearest supermarket is the Co-op in Brodick, 14 miles away. If you spend more than £25 in the Co-op they will deliver your groceries to the campsite
The nearest petrol stations are at Brodick and Blackwaterfoot. If travelling on to Kintyre, be aware that the first petrol stations you will come to are at Lochgilphead heading north, or at Clachan heading south.
The nearest cash machine is at Brodick.
